Every single application or popup window will always attempt to get the highest z-order and switch keyboard input focus from wherever you were working to this window.
More than once, this resulted in input into the wrong window, causing problems.
And running this piece of junk os in a triple monitor setup; why do new windows (mainly outlook related) open on a different monitor ? If my input is on monitor 2, why are new windows opened on monitor 1 or 2?
A straight forward install of a recent Ubuntu version is much friendly for the user. But, as stated by someone else, improving the product is not gaining any cash flow.

Almost every one of the fingerprint sensors in laptops are not supported by Linux due to proprietary protocols. Never managed to get stuff used by Dell or HP with Linux.
But the Grow R503 can be used over uart, what can be connected to usb with some minor additional parts.

Ender. Happened back in the days with a 3v2, the stepper drivers on the original mainboard overheat, causing it to ‘miss’ steps.
Replaced the MB with an improved version, tuned the vRef and never had any issues again.
You might look into tuning the vRef for your machine.
That’s my understanding.
And I think a small fee to get out of the googlyclaws. Paying $100 once, to host immich for the family and supporting development is a no brainer to me.
But I understand not everyone has the resources or is willing to donate.

Wasn’t aware of the test (SuperSlicer user here), and found this.
The tower has multiple notches, each one corresponding to a different retraction length. By looking at the tower after printing, you can see how each retraction length affects the print quality.
So check your surface finish and select the retraction value with the best looks.
Esp32Cam with esphome running a webserver, add frigate in the mix and you can have dozens of cameras for just a few bucks.
Completely open source (apart from the espressif wifi radio stack, but who’s counting) and low cost.
Yes, quality of the camera will never compete with commercial stuff, but this is way more fun. Add as much cameras as your frigate instance allows…

Using a CEC link will make things even more simple, but that might involve additional hardware. Those raspberry thingies have native CEC on hdmi. For x86 you might have to look at some extra hardware.

Yes, as an alternative to klipper -this really is your end goal - use the firmware by mriscoc, it is really nice and robust.
