An introduction to the rogue revolution
The introduction of Rogue Taxidermy created a trend in the art world that changed the perception and assumptions about taxidermy, not only in galleries, but also in contemporary aesthetics. Its presence in galleries has carried over into popular culture, as attested to by the countless home decor magazines and shop window displays that now include taxidermy elements. The trio’s experimental and unorthodox use of taxidermy materials, coupled with their ethical reframing of them, jump-started a taxidermy revival in North America and laid the foundation for what has since exploded into a global phenomenon. Taxidermy is now enjoying a universal level of popularity that it hasn’t experienced since the Victorian era.
Is that all it is? How reassuring; my imagination conjured up whole towns waking up to find overnight “rogue” taxidermy had been performed on their pets; tagline “you’ve been stuffed”.
There’s a horror script in there somewhere. I’m sure of it.
Mom, is that you?
Nope. Chuck Testa.
That’s the first on topic Testa I’ve seen in years.
I’ve seen some far more cursed taxidermy than this. There was a woman on the alien site who would post her Eldritch creations from time to time.
A lamb with one clock knows what time it is. A lamb with two clocks is never quite sure.
Segal’s law. That can also go into the horror movie script.
Just today I saw this.

Awww cute thank you.
Nice, unless this is made by the same people at Rogue brewing - in which case those greedy fucks and go fuck themselves.
Cool art tho.
That one guy turned his cat into a flying drone
No way
Far out.
