I think a lot of amphibians are seen as cute because of their smooth, rounded features. There are some gnarly looking toads out there that probably don’t get the same love.
I enjoy seeing them all, but I also grew up in Florida where they were everywhere. Plus, they’re great for pest control, so I’ve always enjoyed having them around for that.
Almost 2 weeks ago I found a wall lizard inside a pool. Poor baby was so scared (maybe tired) that he didn’t even flinch.
I caught him, and placed him on a wall near the pool.
I love nature!
However, I also hate spiders. So, we are not perfect. And although I am ashamed to admit it, if I find a spider inside my home, I will squish that little fucker.
Funnily enough I dont mind spiders. Tho i’ve never dealt with a poisonous one so maybe thatd change my opinion. The lil ones I know theyre gonna be in their nests just eating bugs
Am I the only one who can’t stand reptiles(minus birds)/ amphibians. I’ve seen too many people who find frogs ‘cute’. Like wtf
