Also zeppo@sh.itjust.works. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.

Eating it when I had zero tolerance was cool for a while. When I am smoking regularly though, I either don’t feel it or I take too much and feel awful.
I’m more of a practical American socialist than a radical communist (since that’s unlikely to happen here) but it offends me because republicans are just so ignorant. The average Republican essentially has no idea what socialism, communism or fascism actually are, and conservatives have been using this as a scary label for my entire life.
my experience is more feeling woozy and tired, but we’re all unique
Unfortunately, I think most people do want wireless connections at this point. We might even have phones with no wired connections at all soon.
It certainly covers the use case for an iPhone, right? Not sure what you’re trying to say. If you don’t have an iPhone why would you care if iPhones have 3.5mm jacks?
Apple EarPods are $20 in either Lightning, USB-C or 3.5 mm. You can get off-brand Lightning for $6 at Walmart, so I don’t think price is a factor.
Anyway, I have had a phone without a 3.5 jack for 4 years now and it hasn’t really affected my life much. I thought it was lame they removed it too, I don’t really expect electronics manufacturers to keep a connector from the 50s forever.
Maybe! Idk, I used to like mock duck. Soy based lunch meat is pretty good too. Alas, I’ll never be able to try this company’s stuff as it all has wheat in it.
Apparently this is a soy and wheat gluten loaf and is made in the Phillipines.
People buy wireless earbuds because they want them though, not because they were forced into it.
Yes, the charging thing is annoying but it doesn’t affect me in most situations. Also, you can get an adapter for like $10 that allows you to charge and use wired headphones.
Not really what the headline is trying to say… AI debates means debates about AI, not AI participating in debates.
Because of….? Anyway I have headphones that have a lightning jack and don’t need an adapter.
That didn’t work, though? My phone came with headphones that plug into the Lightning outlet.
iPhones don’t have the 3.5 mm jack anymore but I don’t see what the big deal is… you can still use wired headphones that plug into the charging/data port.
Definitely. Back when I used FB and Twitter I learned that reporting is entirely useless. You just end up with some automated message about how they reviewed it and it “didn’t violate their community standards” with some lame verbiage like “we realize this isn’t the outcome you were looking for”, regardless of how ridiculously blatant whatever you reported was. On the flip side, I was banned for clearly misinterpreted or brigaded comments, and then an appeal just gives you the inverse where they reviewed it and whatever you posted was definitely terrible and they “realize this isn’t the outcome you were looking for”.
Uh, what? My brain is “on America” because I said we should work on drug abuse and overdose prevention and treat mental conditions, plus the conditions that make people engage in antisocial behavior? Or that I don’t want to go into a restroom with someone passed out on fentanyl?
I’d add, maybe you haven’t lived in urban areas with drug problems and seen this personally, or maybe you just want to be a Redditor and insult people. Idk. I had a gf who worked at a Starbucks in downtown Denver and they regularly had to figure out wtf to do with a person who had been in the bathroom for an hour and a half, and it usually turned out to be someone who had ODed on opiates. That was 10 years ago. It’s worse now.
As far as restrooms specifically, we need to solve a few other issues to make that one work. Drug abuse, antisocial behavior, and mental issues. If we have public restrooms but someone has smashed the fixtures, smeared shit on the walls or is passed out in there from an opiate overdose, it’s not actually better than not having a restroom.
Cool, there’s always music at El Chapult… oh.
Not precisely as I mentioned public ownership of some industries and services that are privately owned. Healthcare and drug production would be two good examples.
