In that case it would still be better to save locally and make regular encrypted backups to the clouds than to save everything to the cloud
When i still needed to use OneDrive I used rclone, works great and also supports most other cloud providers as well as sftp

I have used a windows vm at a previous job for a closed source IDE we were required to use. I’ve never used AutoCAD, so I’m afraid I can’t help you there.
At that point you might as well just use a windows VM for CAD. With desktop integration you hardly have to notice you’re using windows.

No. Every modern library allows using prepared statements, but very few (of any) force using them. If the developer doesn’t use them the libraries won’t do shit to protect you.
