No, sorry, I thought you were being snarky.
I’m agreeing with and expanding on what you said. It’s an open forum; that’s how conversations work.
I don’t have a problem with a for profit model as we live in a monetary system and every donation requires a paid staff and medical supplies as well as a donor’s time and willingness as donating is not without some risk.
It is the infinite profit model that is a problem. The immoral example would be sucking every penny out of patients for blood coming from completely free donations. Or worse, requiring people to pay to donate and manipulating them into doing it.
Being detained while an investigation is conducted is not being arrested.
How often are police tipped off before hand that someone is anticipating being SWATed though?
That situation is practically unheard of so it’s impossible to know how police in the US would respond.
Like others have commented, I think I spend more time tinkering or troubleshooting my Ender 3 than actually printing. I’ve had a lot of fun but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
I think I would look at the Prusa or Bamboo printers as they seem to work better out of the box.
I’m mostly focused on an msla printer these days though.
This reminds me of the old adage when it comes to bears, “If it’s brown, lie down. If it’s black, fight back. If it’s white, goodnight.”
People often expect grizzlies to be the scariest, but they tend to be mostly territorial so playing dead is the best option. Black bears will see people as opportunistic prey if they’re hungry enough (most predators don’t want to get in a fight with their prey). Polar bears are always looking for food so I’m guessing that they’re hangry all the time.
That is the current plan, Game of Thrones, followed by another spin off on HBO. Then Valve will release Half Life 3. At least according to my source.
Nah, Half Life 3 was recently confirmed.
No kids, don’t give a shit.
It clear that you and I will never agree, but fortunately it doesn’t matter because your pipe dream will never happen!
I’ll drive my car and hike/bike these mountains every weekend and keep on loving the freedom and peace of mind that I get to live with. 'Cause Murica.
I’m guessing you’ve never lived in rural America? I don’t think you’re grasping how big the world is for some people. I have to drive three hours to get from my urban home to my favorite mountain bike trail in the mountains.
I would also love to see huge improvements in public transportation, especially around me where the last bus route leaves at 6:30 pm. The only time I would actually consider riding the bus again, it’s already shut down.
The reality, though, is that public transportation cannot replace cars for people that need them. And if you live in the United States, it’s just too damn big, and at least 20% of the population will probably never see public transportation as a viable option.
That doesn’t work for people like me who might drive 10 miles to work and then at the drop of a hat have to travel to another location 60 miles away, then have to travel back to the original location before the end of the day.
I have zero skin in the game and I was immediately tempted 🤣
Except hippos are known to eat meat…so they ARE omnivores.
Then I guess I’m a criminal.
Did you mean sinophobists? You’d still be an idiot but at least you’d be a technically correct idiot.
