Millennials were born in the late 80s and through the 90s. 97/8 is the rough cutoff. Most of them are in their 30s now and the oldest are in their early 40s.

This article only covers typing, but younger gen z and gen alpha are (not at all to their blame) woefully bad at understanding technology. Even using their own devices, like the iphone, outside of a few dozen common apps can be challenging. Let alone desktop OSs, servers and things like printing.
I stress that I absolutely do not say this to call them dumb or ignorant. They have not been given other resources and were not raised on other kinds of tech. And as the article points out, older generations in administration and management positions falsely equate this “app savy” intelligence to tech ability. That is where the blame lies mostly not with the young teenagers and kids.
Then don’t. Why you gotta announce it??
The reason you’re finding articles about usb “hubs” (actually usb docks) with those features is because no one feels the need to spend time writing a guide on purchasing a simple device like a hub. A dock has more choice involved, more to consider in terms of connectivity, speed and other factors.
I would just look up “usb 3 hub” on amazon or wherever. That will give you a good speed. Though if you want to keep it cheaper and you only need it for wireless peripherals, then a usb 2 hub would most likely be fine for that. Just know that if you ever plug a usb or external drive into the hub, it will be limited to 500 megabytes per second, compared to the usb 3 at 10 gigabytes per second roughly.
You know the same thing was said with Beeper’s imessage on Android pytorch success. “Apple won’t be able to change this. They’d have to change the very nature of imessage itself to block this!” And then, two days later it was blocked completely so, as much as I would hope Google couldn’t block FreeTube, don’t expect such huge successes without tempering expectation.
Everything is legal in the usa for corporations and the rich. Just a little itsy fine to pay and then you never hear about it again, even though they don’t stop
You don’t get it… If I don’t defend Musk and Bezos, then I have to admit I’m being fucked over. Then I have to actually deal with the reality that life is completely out of my control except for collective bargaining and class consciousness.
That takes a lot of unlearning and reformulating to do, and a lot of grace towards myself for falling for propaganda and that rails against my rugged individualism as I have been taught since childhood.
All of this takes time and effort, as well as the mentioned patience and acceptance that I am not the sole master of my own destiny. That my parents were taught a lie and lied to me, and so did their parents.
So I believe i n sunk cost fallacies and worship said billionaires.
soon-ish
Who’s car is only going 3 miles on a tank?

All of these people who want progress and justice until they are asked to think about what’s on their plate. One would hope that a desire for a better world would be enough to spur all necessary change in one’s own life.
I have a routine that unless my phone is connected to my wifi, it turns off biometrics and only uses pattern.
Biden’s ego is going to fuck us over.
EDIT: Eating my own words
So any apps that follow the Unix philosophy (even without subscribing to it intentionally) are getting axed. Do something well and don’t try to bake in a million other things into your program.
Great! They totally don’t want only apps that spy on you, are filled with bloatware and junk, and serve ads upon ads.
If you live in the USA, the cops can now legally force you to unlock your phone using biometrics. And I mean I guess they can also illegally (and whose gonna stop them) force you to open your phone with a passcode or pattern as well. But it’s a lot easier for them to hold your finger on a scanner or your phone to your face than make you type in the code.
Do you want to comment this one more time for emphasis?
Notion acquired Skiff('s Dev team) and now they’re shutting their project down as stated to continue their own work.
Idk the slavery, the goblins, the blatant love of all the worst parts of 19th century high British society… The world is pretty wild.
And she doesn’t really set those things up to challenge them in the books, you’re just supposed to accept that they’re there and be fine with them.
We have very little idea how plastic is affecting the human body. But I wouldn’t be surprised if like lead or some brain tumors it increases aggression, causes anti social behavior, and falls into a paranoid fear spiral.
But then again, gen z would be some of those most affected by it and we’re seeing a lot more progressive attitudes in gen Z and millenials than older generations.
Do you really think that they are minority? I’m concerned they’re not
You’re arguing in good faith. They are not.
