Neverwinter Nights 2 and BG2 had 9th level spells in a real time with pause game and it worked fine. So it is totally doable, especially since BG3 is turn based.

I’m a former Marine and the Corps is really bad at preparing a person for life after serving, especially if they are in combat arms. Also some of the dumbest people I’ve met were Marines and they usually made rank because promotions are heavily based on physical fitness and rifle score, and not on technical expertise or leadership skills.
Plus you would have to armor the whole thing and spend a bunch on security because one guy with a .50 rifle or some explosives could destroy a whole section and close the whole thing by punching one hole in it.
“Hanging chads” on paper ballots helped Bush swing/steal the election from Gore. Paper ballots have a lot of problems too. At least in California every vote on an electronic voting machine generates a paper ballot.
A lot of games didn’t work properly if turbo mode was engaged. They would run unplayably fast, have crazy game breaking visual glitches, or just crash. A few of my games had a splash screen reminding the user to turn off turbo mode. The turbo button was mainly there to speed up processing for mundane tasks like spreadsheets or for compiling code.
When they did pay attention to them the boomers portrayed them as utterly brain dead morons.
They probably stored it on tape which was slow but could hold an impressive amount of data.
I remember my first multi gig hard drive. I was blown away that I could fully install Diablo 2, Fallout 2, and a cracked version of 3d Studio Max at the same time. No more changing disks!
I still use Lynx to get around paywalls.
Bush vs Gore came down to “hanging chads” on paper ballots, paper ballots are just as insecure if not more than voting machines where there is no ambiguity on whether someone is voting for a particular candidate.
He’s not even consistently good at that. I got one as a gift and it was really uncomfortable.
There is also a great Japanese metal band by that name as well as a old school punk band.
It seems like a lot of people strip the agency from the women he has flings with. If he is not abusive or manipulative then who cares, they come out the other side with some great stories and experiences that they wouldn’t have if they instead had a fling with a random classmate at college.
I get most of my music off of Bandcamp which is DRM free. The catch it that Bandcamp is mostly independent or small artists. For artists that are not on Bandcamp I usually buy MP3 albums on Amazon which are DRM free.
They might want to level gate higher difficulty missions. You can pull your own weight not playing meta, I personally don’t play meta and do fine even on 8 and 9 difficulty. It is frustrating when a low level player uses inappropriate orbital/eagle strikes on targets which wastes time or does not know the general size of a strike causing friendly fire. I don’t mind that on lower levels, people got to learn somehow but it sucks when a level 13 eats up all your reinforcement budget then causes an extraction failure because they decided to throw out a danger close 120mm barrage causing the loss of that missions super samples.
