Part of me feels like it ended up similar to the situation Ark is in now where the player base is split. I’ve honestly not heard anything much about CS2 recently which is curious. It was a shame it was such a let down on release after how much love CS got.

If I’m remembering correctly there is an age (younger) where we are more receptive to patterns in regards to LA, but we don’t differentiate the language received. “All” input in this stage is valid input that kid brain associates meaning to, which slowly gets weeded out (lost) if you don’t use it into adulthood. However, we are all generally speaking, on an even playing field developmentally as we age after that point in regards to learning a new language. Adults just tend to have less free time to devote to learning a new language as a young adult, etc.

I think, if left to my own devices, I will have about 2-6 cups of instant coffee in a day depending on my mood. Though I don’t think there’s much caffeine in it? I never thought about howwww much caffeine was going in, but maybe that’s because it doesn’t do much for me besides helping focus (poorly at that).

I used to go to FNM every week with a group, got into EDH, built decks, went to GPs, it used to be so much fun! Now it’s just this cheap cash grab, Arena is miserable, Moto never gets talked about because they don’t profit off it like Arena (and it’s never going to get updated or fixed in any meaningful way), the power creep is absolutely bananas they’re on track to invalidating years worth of cards. It’s just really unfortunate it went downhill soooo fast. And we’re going to get more of these stupid crossover sets with a billion stupid overlapping keywords 😭.

It’s also frustrating because deck building games are fun, and Arena is the only “F2P” version that scratches that itch, but their hidden ranking/matchmaking system makes it borderline unbearable.
