Fuck Google, I’m not paying them shit.
However, when Google and Amazon are nationalized then I’ll agree. Everyone should pay taxes which go into the government owned server farms.
I’m a communist 😈

It’s not an SOE and like half of its stocks are owned by Americans. But the parent company got some government funding according to the US Congress, so the whole conglomerate is considered an SOE by America now. Sounds like trade war stuff to me lol
This is completely ridiculous.
In Minecraft, the immersive game owned by Microsoft, Russian players re-enacted the battle for Soledar, a city in Ukraine that Russian forces captured in January, posting a video of the game on their country’s most popular social media network, VKontakte.
These authors clearly know nothing about Minecraft. Wow, some nationalists re-enacted a battle on their private Minecraft server. Woe is the world! All of Minecraft has been infected by Russian dezinformatsiya!
A channel on the Russian version of World of Tanks, a multiplayer warfare game, commemorated the 78th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in May with a recreation of the Soviet Union’s parade of tanks in Moscow in 1945. On Roblox, the popular gaming platform, a user created an array of Interior Ministry forces in June to celebrate the national holiday, Russia Day.
Defeating the Nazis is good, actually. And commemorating that is also good, actually.
Yes, we live in the Information Age. We’ve been living in it for decades now, NYT. Nationalist zealots are going to post. They’re going to make reactionary content. It’s nothing new.
You’re the one implying Ukraine is on the moon! Talk about bad geography!
Okay I guess they could build ground stations outside the country if more coverage was desired.
What does that have to do with space? Is Ukraine on the moon? I’m confused
Ugh lemmy has this bot already?
Haha Russian scientists are all drunkards amirite 🤣
What?
Are you okay
A good question is “with what rocket?”
Probably Yenisei which unfortunately had its development paused.
A factor in this crash is that they lack a round-the-world comm system.
They’ve had this with GLONASS for over a decade. For far-side communications, you need a single relay satellite like what China used for Chang’e-4. However, you don’t actually need either of those for many lunar missions. When the Americans sent humans to the moon, they just used radio waves that were picked up from various ground stations across the world.
Oh yeah it’d be a tight squeeze and I’m pretty sure that configuration gets rid of the trunk space. Cute city car though!
Fuck it, it’s Wuling Hongguang Mini EV posting hours
NYC (and presumably Chicago - I haven’t been) are the best, that’s true. I’ve also been to Philadelphia and Boston and both had good train systems. I currently live in a medium-sized city that is 90% bus transit, and that can suffice even though it’s not great. It’s an exaggeration to say NYC and Chicago are the only places you can go without a car.

Americans bought Renault 5s in the past, can we dare dream they might buy Renault 5 EVs in the future?
Does the modern Renault 5 EV also lack airbags?
Very cool. Let’s hope the final version works as promised!
Green hydrogen via electrolysis of seawater without desalination? That actually sounds quite impressive.
The technology costs as little as 11.2 yuan (US$1.57) per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of hydrogen – much less than the current mainstream cost of hydrogen production from natural gas, which ranges from 20 to 24 yuan per kilogram.
This sounds too good to be true! I wonder how it compares to other fuel-equivalents…
Return to buttons. This “infotainment” fad is seriously dangerous.
