I would reinstall the rpm fusion ones and remove the ones from the official site, also check if maybe there is a flatpak update for steam if you have it. Also blacklist your nouveau driver in the grep config file, it could be that its using that.
If you want to check if its working use glx-gears with the info flag and set the opengl to the nvidia card. It could be that it doesnt work, its been a long time since my driver broke.

As far as i know, windows 10 is still more functional, less of a resource hog (in windows terms), far FAR less telemetry and it just looks fucking nicer. It costs nothing to not upgrade, or you pay the tribute and join the linux brotherhood

Sony shat over their consumers and are now in the process of trying the same for pc using the 5 exclusive games they still have as bait. Xbox effectively fucked their business model a few years ago with game pass and are now hemorrhaging money. Apple, who in their right mind plays on apple silicon, shit cant even run doom. Epic games store is only being kept afloat due to fortnite and their free games they give out like candy. Valve got so fed up with the bullshit that Microsoft churns out of its window shaped asshole that they created proton and are most likely the leading cause for the rise of the linux market share . All of the other publishers tried to make their own games stores and all of those are dead There are no games on chromebooks.
Its not just the consoles its litterally everbody that is fucking dieing. The other platforms that could offer viable gaming experiences either dont support it (chromebooks) dont want to support it( apple xbox sony) or dont have enough power for fully fledged massive games (i dont think we’ll be seeing helldivers 2 on a phone like ever)

those drivers do suck ass, it is really just astonishing how much the hp software just stops working suddenly, im starting to think its intentional. know if there is any way to reverse that first firmware update that locks out all third party ink?
the problem with not fixing what isnt broken, is that my parents arent the most technologically adept anymore, hell just the other day the guy that was installing their fiber told them that wifi is as fast as ethernet, and almost got them to buy 2 extra wifi access points they never needed. so i just want em to live life nicely and not have leaches glued to their wallet. the other reason why i want to replace that printer is that my 3d printer is looking awfully upgradable and hungers for some new parts. so its 2 birds with one stone really.
Im thinking a toner printer would be a good replacement since that stuff just never seems to run out and is really low maintenance. they do have a big old black and white office printer in the basement for bulk printing, but the hp bastard does all of smaller stuff. sadly they have updated the firmware on it so we cant shove third party cartiges in it. anyways thanks a bunch for the guide printer guru!
Back in the 90s, there was this excel precursor called lotus, that thing was a beast, it supported 3d cells, graphs, everything. If you can make it in excel, you can make it in lotus and add extra things without even trying. From what i heard from the older generation is that excel now only supports half of what lotus did.
