That can happen but in my experience it’s not common. The wiki says it’s 30% chance but i don’t think that’s right, I think that’s just the chance they are set on fire

Psychic shock lances are OP when it comes to getting more colonists
I think it’s like an old school Georgian (the US state) accent. I have family from that area that sound exactly like that. I don’t have a problem understanding it for that reason but i could totally see not knowing wtf he’s saying. Just wanted to say there are indeed people that sound like that in case people thought it was just a British person putting on a bad southern accent.
I’m not sure how you think this video is related to the comment I replied to ?
Also Starship Troopers
Boy that voice over is just awful to listen to
Weird, the only times I’ve smelled biodiesel it’s mostly smelled like french fries
The sense of obligation towards your coworkers is something companies absolutely abuse and exploit. I’m not saying don’t have empathy for your fellow human, but people aren’t typically incentivized to use best possible solutions if they take more work outside of this obligation so you have to be careful to not let yourself be exploited because of it.
Not sure why you think there wouldn’t be any more need for labor, unless you’re thinking of some far future post-scarcity society where literally everything is automated. A UBI implemented now would give the working class even more power because they’d be able to actually use their labor as leverage instead of being forced to choose between working for shit pay or starvation.
Ohhhh for some reason my mind went to him trying to tutor other dudes to help them with women. Was very confused.
I’ll be your friend
I know a lot of people won’t believe it happens, because the simpler and more mundane explanation (which is usually the true one) is that it isn’t necessary because of all the data that we know is being collected like browsing habits, searches, etc but my partner has a few times tried to test this as a party trick. Normally her ads are for like kitcschy knick-knacks or like funky flower pots but one time we were hanging with friends talking about this discussion and we decided to all repeat out loud “lab grown diamond engagement rings” for about 15 min. Not 1 hour later she had an Instagram ad that said word for word “lab grown diamond engagement rings.” I know it’s anecdotal and isn’t proof but we’ve done this a few times and it’s seemed to work about half the time; each time we get an ad that’s both hyper specific to what we’re taking about and also not something close to anything we’ve been advertised before.
This is very interesting but dang that Wikipedia page is kind of a mess compared to what I’m used to seeing
Is there video of it? I didn’t see any in the article and usually video isn’t allowed in a courtroom no?
But it wouldn’t help really at all? Seems like a waste of political capital when mail in ballots/mutliple voting days would actually help something.
But a federal holiday doesn’t really help though right? People working at Wendy’s don’t get existing federal holidays off so it wouldn’t change for the majority of people who can’t get to the polling stations because of what job they have.
But if it were like he’s suggesting, people would complain that those characters final(ish) actions were out of character and it would make no sense for them to do those things. Just because you can see something coming doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable to watch. If you saw two trains heading towards each other on one track you wouldn’t look away simply because the you see the outcome coming. There’s a difference between foreshadowing and being predictable and imo it’s not good criticism.
If you’re interested in this game at all at a pro level check out T90 on twitch. He streams pretty much all tournaments and is just genuinely a good dude.
