  • I have never bought an iPhone or a Mac and I agreed at first that this seems an extra step. But you surely wouldn’t have to flip it over? The device will be raised enough it appears that a finger could slide in the gap and hit that button. But maybe I don’t know shit or have slender fingers or something but feels like it could be operated without flipping.

    What am I missing?

Still a daft design but yeah…

Even then Nexus and early Pixels I used had pretty meh battery experiences. The highlights now are the cameras but there’s too much AI crap for my liking and Exynos bones put me off. Let’s see what’s about when my Zenfone 10 starts ageing. It’s been a quirky, mildly buggy (mainly Telegram crashes) but otherwise solid experience, with meh cameras vs the Pixel and Samsung offerings. Stabilisation on videos has been solid though thanks to the gimbal.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting back into Linux for a while now. While I’m still on W10 I’m not rushing, and haven’t installed a TPM Module so Windows doesn’t force W11 on me yet, but when I have no choice that may push my hand. There’s some stuff I find easier on Windows but Linux has really caught up in the past 20 years and I reckon I could daily it in the coming years.
