Listening to that right now, coincidentally.

I’ve found a nice home with Mint Debian edition. It has the right balance between stable and current that I prefer.
I’ve always liked the Stromberg Carlson Fiddleback myself.
I can confirm and I do use this feature of jellyfin. It works great. The reader is unusable. I use Librera for reading. It’s great, free, and open source.
So my flow is biblio, mam, library Genesis, Anna’s. Then to jellyfin folder that it reads automatically. Then I can download that to any device connected to the jellyfin server. Local is easy, abroad through tailscale.
Holy shit that’s commitment.
I took a long break from gaming (~15 years). Then when I came back too it I found all these great games that had came and went. So I started parsing through many of the most critically acclaimed games. I hit Arkane, and Dishonored was so incredible (and I got Prey with them in a flash steam sale for a few bucks), I thought I’d give it a try.
I will say it’s probably one of the best games I’ve played in my most recent gaming phase. It is a super solid sci-fi horror where you can engage. I do not like run and hide games, so this one fulfilled my criteria. The story is also classic sci-fi greatness.
It’s also one of the few games I’ve got an itch to play again.
I got roughly 100 hours in. I only played a few battles over, opened most of the maps, but didn’t complete all the side quests. I got frustrated by the length at the end and simply
sacrificed Gale instead of actually fighting the brain
No regrets whatsoever.
It is a big commitment. I did not dilly-dally and am a veteran gamer. It took me 90 hours to finish a moderate play through. It’s worth it but it did start to drag at the end. And that’s just one ending.
Also, don’t forget to look at Standard Ebooks for legal, well formatted public domain books. It’s a great site.
The only place I found it was on myanonamouse. It’s a pdf with side-by-side greek english with translations by Richard Fitzpatrick.
Is this the book?
I’m being totally honest when I say, This Old House. It’s always positive, inclusive, thoughtful. I’ve learned so much from so many different trades. They restore neglected structures and highlight local businesses and people. They underscore the importance of history and community. That encourage the underserved and downtrodden to use their hands and minds for positive community building.
There are 45 seasons and it’s still going. I’ve tried to put it on just to have in the background and always end up riveted and engrossed. I cannot recommend it enough
I don’t think that’s true. From XDA forums, you can choose to disable the app or completely remove it. I have completely destroyed the system from uninstalling critical apps. I have had to do a complete factory reset due to uninstalling core apps. No root whatsoever.
Just a tip, you can debloat your galaxy without rooting it with adb tools. You can remove any apps you want this way fairly easily.
Not a long term solution, and all the other comments are great options for replacement. Until then, you can remove almost anything you want until you’re ready to switch.
All these suggestions are great. I’ll just add that qbittorrent has a built in search feature that is often outstanding. And rutracker is great for music torrents.
I had a beelink ser5, and without giving you the bench marks, I can tell you that many games that were unplayable on cinnamon or kde, did work in openbox. I would log out and back into that DE just to play games.
Just my observation. I have upgraded my PC so I haven’t needed to repeat that with my new one.
Having tried many, I found that the desktop environments matter more than the actual OS, especially on older machines.
Going for something really light, like openbox, lxde, or xfce, caused less frame rate drop and stuttering. At least on my lower powered mini pc.
