I would really suggest people to read their privacy policy - it is horrible. Good app but makes no sense for the exchange of privacy it demands.
I like reading mysteries. Feel free to message me for a chess game.

You can, go into settings.
A lemmy community for bugs woud be very hard to keep track of. Discord allows segmented, real time conversations which is simply better.
lemmy.world is having a DDoS attack, please use another instance.
From the discussions I have seen, there’s going to be an IAP for ad-free.
Oh and please note that bugs should be reported in #sync-support-and-bugs in the discord: https://discord.gg/qYWxqva or the github.
LJ has been working very hard - this is beta 24 from no betas a week ago.
And again, it is a beta - some features like Ad-free IAP and submissions are not there, but they will be in there eventually.
No, @ljdawson@lemmy.world is.
There will be a single time payment for ad-free as was the case with Sync for Reddit. Any subscription based model is for the features which are going to require running (and paying) for a server. Even for Ultra (the paid subscription model) we would most likely have a lifetime option.
Good for the people who use them. I don’t.
I’ll still speak out against any app with such a heinous privacy policy.
