Sync user so it looks and basically feels the same. Just the volume of posts is missing. My other issue is I used a lot of smaller communities and they haven’t migrated… Yet. So it’s hard to get answers to things without going back to the /r which I try to avoid.

This is me too. Sync was how I consumed/participated reddit just the backend - I’m happy in the fediverse if I can use Sync. What we touch and interact with IS the important part. Sync for me and yes it’s worth the subscription. Either I’m the product or the consumer. I’ll gladly compensate the artist/author to avoid being the product (free is not always free).

I’m a day 1 Ultra! I have so missed the Sync experience since Reddit went apeshit cray cray. When sync for Reddit went dark I haven’t gone back. I left it installed just In case I clicked a reddit link. I haven’t been back to Reddit. But I will log one one final time to review my subs and then reddit is dead. Sync for Lemmy feels so familiar and awesome to use. Can’t wait to help develop new communities here in the fediverse.
