I love the Atari ST and Linux!

He’s welcoming an audit so now we can wait for the real legal professionals to dig into this. Mutahar uploaded a response but I’m honestly so tired of this situation that I won’t even watch it. Karl and Mutahar should have stopped covering this on their initial videos because at this point it just feels like they’re milking it for money. What jirard did is really bad and they should have left it there for the professionals to handle it. This is a serious case of fraud that youtuber’s shouldn’t be making conclusions on.
I had a feeling this was the case. Youtube has been painful for the past month now.
Jirard never seemed like the type of guy to pull something like this and I really want to see his response but having the money just sit there (and hopefully still there) for years is a really bad look for him. At the very least he was just clueless but that’s still damaging taking into account all the lies on the charity streams
I love seeing stuff like this! I think anyone who is used to windows should try Linux out on a cheap laptop and see how they like it.
Reddit is only good for solutions though search results but do it anyway. Make it worse and worse until people start looking for alternatives.
Damn. I have dealt with this for so long that I forgot it was even a bug.
Not necessarily UI but the overuse of javascript on most websites. It makes browsing the web on low power and old devices a nightmare.
I have seen this same image circulated for years. We need a new one because transmission in D tier is unacceptable.
Check it out. It’s a really fun game and perfect for the deck.
Twitter has had nothing but rage bait and engagement bots for a while now and the tweets are so obviously fake that even the general public is slowly starting to catch on. It’s such a cesspool that you would be hard-pressed to find anything remotely entertaining or informative. Instead you will just leave the site with a feeling of disgust and frustration.
Yeah it’s great, It’s never been a better time to be a Linux user. There’s always something to look forward to and we get more support every year. I’m going to give cosmic a shot when they release it.
Glad to see another runcat user. It’s a must have extension.
That’s reassuring. I thought anyone outside of the US would think this is a disgusting calorie bomb. I mean it is but fuck it, I’ll have it.
I will always support valve because of their amazing Linux support but if GOG finally made a client for Linux then I would try to use that more. I wish Epic would also support Linux but with massive douchebag Tim Sweeney running the company, that will never happen.
I used the Equilux GTK theme for years but it’s been abandoned since 2018 and GNOME has changed a lot since then. I switched to Colloid and it didn’t take much to tweak it to my liking, mainly reducing the size of the titlebar and panel.
I think they’re the go-to company if you want to get a laptop in 2023. I got my unit back in 2021 and used it every day since, and it has taken quite a beating. It went though several light impacts and one big drop but the only thing to show for it is a small dent on the back.
My only two complaints are
echo "deep" > /sys/power/mem_sleep
which makes your system use deep sleep instead of s2idle which solved the issue but waking up from suspend is now 8-10 seconds instead of 2 seconds.I expect these hardware issues and more to be fixed on newer boards and the framework 16 but I’ll continue to use my 13 and upgrade to an AMD board and use my intel board to make a mini PC. There’s really no reason to buy Dell, HP, or Lenovo anymore now that framework exist and has delivered on all their promises.
This is what Gentoo needed. I’ve been using it for a long time and love it as it is but sometimes when there’s a bunch of slot conflicts or a compile error it makes me wish I just dealt with binaries instead. Now that we have the best of both worlds, it will make Gentoo appeal to a wider userbase and make it less painful to use on older hardware.
