You can install Firefox from Windows’s package manager Winget with the command:

winget install -e --id Mozilla.Firefox

You don’t have to use the Store or Edge.

That works for most printers I’ve used in the US too.

There are a lot of subtle things that are enabled too. Superconductors can store energy, because current going trough a superconductive loop doesn’t dissipate due to heat.
