It IS a sport, but unfortunately illegal.

Yeah, we tried that one. I didn’t think anyone’s stomach volume is large enough for that amount. None of us could get past the 45 minute mark.
Sounds like a fun game! Depending on tolerance, maybe beer instead of shots…
Reminds me of the game thunderstruck. Get everyone in a circle with a few drinks on hand. Start the song “thunderstruck” by AC/DC. First person starts chugging and on every time they say “thunderstruck”, that person stops chugging and the next in line starts. Very fun but uneven. Once the into starts, one person is chugging for a bit.
Seriously doubt it. Elective surgeries were likely cancelled, which could certainly prolong suffering for some, but life saving surgeries can absolutely happen and do without computers.
I was wondering if it was a scammer thing. Makes sense, thanks!
This, in addition to the other comment calling it a scammer cleared it up for me. I initially read it as “doing yogas…”. Guess I’m out of touch.
Can someone explain this to me? I don’t get it.
That’s the standard these days. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ATLS are the ones I know of and all have ~8-12hr online course preceding a ~2-4hr in person course.
I was wondering how in the hell they got IRB approval for a placebo of “I’ll just cut on you but not do surgery”. Saw it was 2002, but still was surprised. Then I saw it came from VA in Texas, and all questions were answered.
Yeah, much better at the bottom. I suspect that this allows them to be loaded each time we load comment section (allowing you to be paid for your efforts), regardless of how long the comments section is?
I do. I extend it beyond medicines as well. Corporations have spent lots of money for their brands to be household names. They don’t control my language.
Specifically to medicine, I will note that the generic name actually carries information that the brand name does nothing for. Lisinopril and enalopril are the same medication class, act similar. Amlodipine, nimodipine, nicardipene are all the same class. Those generic names have important meaning.
Oh, you want facial tissues? Why didn’t you ask?
Sure, here’s some acetaminophen and ibuprofen.
Don’t you mean bleach wipes?
That someone was RIGHT!
Interestingly, he was silent for 3 weeks after being assigned to the bug, then came back to post his blog post and nothing else. I’ve seen this blog post a few times today, looks like his self promoting strategy is working.
Fever is not 100F. A fever is defined as 100.4F. Why 100.4 when 100 is a much easier to remember and handle number? Because fever is defined in humans as 38C, and that converts to 100.4F.
Agreed, a neonate can certainly survive longer than a fetus without support.
You also assume I’m religious.
I’ve not seen many neonates capable of surviving without external intervention. Yes, there is more involvement that an umbilical cord, but left to its own devices, a neonate will not survive.
So you’re saying that you like Hitler? Holy cow, get a load of this guy!
Everyone, get in here and rally against this person!
