I am not an expert, but I am assuming that the interference would slow down mobile data, lower sound quality on mobile phone calls, and probably more dropped calls. Much as I hate AT&T, I am on their side for this one. An “an 18% average reduction in network downlink throughput” sounds significant to me.

Not really, but a few years ago I was going through an old box of VHS home movies for my wife and turning them into MP4s. Amongst the tapes I found a box set of Star Wars IV, V, & VI. The original trilogy before Lucas fucked them up. Naturally I ripped a copy of those as a back up. Sadly they were pan-and-scan but they were actually in good shape!

Depends where you live, I guess. Before moving out of state, I used to occasionally go to a place in Wheaton, Illinois called Studio Movie Grill. It’s like a normal theater but each seat has a tray and you can order food like in a normal restaurant. Each row of seats is elevated over the rows in front so that the servers for rows in front of yours don’t block your view of the movie. I did find it a little distracting but I still enjoyed it.

As for beer, every chain movie house I’ve been to for years has sold beer and in many cases, mixed drinks too.

Donny, if you get the courts to confirm that former Presidents have “TOTAL PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY” then how can you prosecute Biden? You know what, skip it. I’m sure that consequence of your actions never had the slightest possibility of crossing your dementia addled mind.

Frankly, if the courts should rule in Trump’s favor on this (Note: Prior to 2016 I never would have entertained the possibility, but now… who the fuck knows what they’ll do.) then Biden, as a sitting president, will have been declared above the law. Trump is operating the same way. He practically begged the judge to throw him out of the courtroom. He got away with it because the judge understands exactly what Trump is doing.

The judge and Trump literally had an exchange in court the other day confirming what you are saying.

Record victory? First, he only got half the votes. Second, it was the lowest turn out in 24 years. And finally, a large portion of those who voted for other candidates told pollsters that if Trump is the nominee, they would vote for Biden in the general election.

I have no problem showing such evidence to jurors. By all means show them and point out that this evidence suggests that the defendant is unlikely to have left those marks. The problem comes when an “expert” sits on the stand and states that the evidence proves something what there is no scientific bases for such a conclusion.

It was news to me so I checked. It looks like the ATF has a computerized system to gather evidence but it is still left up to a human to make the determination. Even so, this system is still based on the unproven premise that no two firearms will make the same marks on cartridges and projectiles. Even if you can definitively state that a given round matches a given gun, you don’t know how many other guns would make marks sufficiently similar as to be indistinguishable.

Always remember, when you read stories like these, that the wrong done to the person who has been wrongfully convicted is only one aspect of the tragedy. The other aspect is that the investigators’ myopic focus on convicting this individual has allowed the actual murderer to remain free to kill again.
