Sorry if I was wrong about the prevalence of such protections. My perception may be biased because the notebooks used by our company are all equipped with a switch or shutter of some sort. (HP brand, IIRC) Regarding your second point, however: surely a shutter physically obscuring the camera lens is just as effective as disconnecting the camera when it comes to protecting the user’s privacy?

They often come equipped with a privacy slider to cover the lens. Or you can just put a sticker on them.

Thank you for your response. Luckily, I cannot say I’m particularly short-tempered. Certainly not moreso than unmedicated. That said, when I do get upset the Strattera might make things a little worse for me, with side effects ranging from dry mouth to dizziness.

Would you care to elaborate on the downsides of Strattera? I’ve been considering switching to Vyvanse for a while now but couldn’t find a compelling reason to tell my insurance why they should support the switch (I think lisdexamphetamine is more expensive than atomoxetin).

I (occasionally) like the frantic style of Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw’s Zero Punctuation game reviews. Together with the wacky animations, they’re quite something.

My favorite soundtrack ever, of course, is that of The Secret of Monkey Island (MT-32) by Michael Land. A lot of nostalgia there.

I also very much like the soundtrack to Dune by Stephane Picq. There’s an edition that combines the Adlib, Adlib Gold, and MT-32 versions which is “chef’s kiss”. Alternatively, I can recommend the Space Opera edition.

Strike Commander by Nenad Vugrinec on MT-32 is also great.

For chiptunes, I really liked Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 by Alex Mauer.

Or, for a real classic, Earthbound by Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka.

For me it’s lack of driver support that’s keeping me from buying AMD cards. Has been for literal decades. I’ve never had a more unreal number of bluescreen crashes and black/frozen screen hangups than with AMD cards. Ever since switching to nVidia, maybe one per two years. Every now and then I try AMD again when replacing a card (last in 2016 when the RX480 was touted as a bargain) but the story remains the same.
