For anyone who wants to get in training, GTA5 has working forklifts and pallets ;-)
I’m not even mad, that’s impressive!
After passing my certification with ease, my instructor pointed out that women generally make better forklift drivers … so, this would make sense in an animé about the cut-and-thrust world of competitive forklift driving … which is also a thing BTW.
I went and did a search, looking for cute tanks and I have to say there’s a lot of good choices which come down to personal preference, the Luchs included.
Of course, this isn’t including Tankettes, which are almost all incredibly cute.
Nice photo!
Also, I do love the Delta (and the Ebre in general, travelled a lot of it’s length this year up in Aragón)
I have to admit, that is easily the cutest tank I’ve ever seen!
(I’ve seen Girls Und Panzer, and read everything Tank Girl, so I’m an expert!)
It is a lisp, albeit on purpose … to further confuse things in parts of Spain with different languages the shared words don’t necessarily have that lisp!
Best thing would be to go to a Spanish speaking country for a holiday, once you’ve been forced to use it on strangers you’ll loose your language anxiety and it gets much easier (I live in Spain and work in Spanish, I’m not very good, but also no longer worried about muddling through).
When was that? Last time I tried it was a couple of years ago.
As for the difference, outside of Spain the conjugation of Vosotros (you, plural) isn’t used, but speaking to strangers is much more formal. Also, there’s a lot of vocabulary differences which can be confusing for non-native speakers.
Good luck with your learning, it’s a great language :-)
Last time I looked it still did a weird mix of American and European Spanish, too
With models, for me it’s not about immersion but rather some fascination with having little versions of real things … I don’t know why, and I especially don’t understand why making models of anything is 99.9% a men’s hobby :-/
Please high-five your three year old for me
That sort of thing, but with little trucks, diggers, forklifts, and tractors all by radio control … I guess I never understood the appeal of train sets whereas driving a little truck around looks like fun
If you want to check out something related, wierd, and interesting check out German radio controlled truck conventions … lots of people go together and drive their RC stuff in a sensible realistic manner. I find it adorable.
That’s what we call an attention getter!
Human being can be oddly obsessive. In other news, I wish American Truck Simulator was available for PS4 :-/
The thing is, driving a forklift is actually fun, with the steering at the back and levers to move the forks etc, so I can imagine competing with them would be great … maybe the watching isn’t so compelling though
