Same — I never used Reddit but I found out about Lemmy from a Content Creator I enjoy. Seemed cool, a few privacy policies later and I’m here. The more I read about Reddit the more I’m glad I never used it.

Haha! I jumped ship after the API ruckus. Before the NSFW filter was readily available I blocked a lot of porn communities before I had a feed I could browse at work.

I’m seeing a lot more porn, which is neat. Dunno if it’s normal for a new user or the algorythm dangling a carrot. But I’ll take it!
