What’s with the voiceover?
Yay, another remaster.
Whoppers are 95% great. It’s that gross 5% that really makes me savor the rest.
Just nailed an interview because I prepped with ChatGPT. Gave it my resume, the position I was applying for, and some of my recent accomplishments and it helped me realize that I was a stronger candidate than I thought, so I was able to use that during the interview.
Please keep in mind that at no time do I ever believe ChatGPT blindly.
I take it you’re not excited for the game. If they could deliver on all of their promises, do you think that you could find some part of it to like?
I didn’t think I’ve seen much of anything on Lemmy.
I’ve considered joining in on community games from the MCDM discord, the company that Matt Colville started. Lots of YouTube content for you to get an idea of what his deal is and the kind of community they’re trying to foster.
I think being on Lemmy is part of the issue. The Venn diagram of people who left Reddit for Lemmy and the people who support pie in the sky games like SC doesn’t have a whole lot of overlap in the middle, I wouldn’t think.
Anyway, any particular gameplay loop you’re excited for?
I thought of that, but I don’t think I’m the best fit for that kind of time investment.
Every comment in these posts seems to be either “StarCitizen killed my family and dishonored my temple” or “can’t believe people let SC kill their family and dishonor their temple.”
Same old hate without real substance.
The video is a redo from the guy who did it live at Citizen Con, because the demo crashed when they were onstage.
Is there a Lemmy community for people who don’t just shit on the game? Tired of just hearing about how it’s a scam. Does anybody play this and enjoy it?
I’ve got a bat. It may take a few tries, and you might forget some other things, but you get what you pay for.
Limited Liability Corporations exist for that very reason. I think a dude in France made a deal with a cave lion of some sort.
God please let us put a fucking leash on these assholes dominating our time. I don’t want to be convinced non-stop that you’re voting in my best interest, I want to see my best interests enacted. I want a representative democracy that allows me to trust that my representatives are going to represent my community as a whole, not some twisting tendril of black or white districts intended to game the system. And it’s so fucking absurd that we have somehow convinced ourselves that our Constitution intended for corporations to be treated as people or for money to be treated as free speech. Millions and billions spent convincing us that millions and billions need to be spent. It’s complete lunacy and we’re all cool with it?
We’re too insulated to care too much, because it mostly doesn’t affect our day to day lives. And we have a pretty big election coming up in like 6 weeks, so it makes sense that most Americans online would talk about that.
I have no problems with it, so I guess I’m some sort of savant? There is such thing as good and bad UI, but I think this is a case of ‘what you’re used to’ causing problems with ‘what is.’
How do you see this change impacting the overall experience? When you say that the single player mentality is ruining MMOs, what features or gameplay decisions are you picturing?
Yes, I’m sure he meant an economic bloodbath. 🙄
As a former teenage boy, sometimes it’s really just soap and soap scum and dirt and whatever else caught in the hair rather than anything else.
Also, for anyone caught in a sticky situation, cold water to keep the proteins from denaturing and getting sticky in the first place, and if all else fails use shampoo to try to emulsify it to stick to the water instead of the floor, to make little sewer babies with your neighbors.
I wouldn’t feel bad about asking here rather than googling it yourself. I like the engagement, personally.
