‘As children grow up they become more independent’, apparently privacy doesn’t apply in this case. I’m sure some students are annoyed at that fact that people trust them less and less.

This is surprisingly very common. Even for stuff that prioritise privacy. The interesting part is why discord is kept under the covers by everyone - despite its security offences, and anti-user practices.
There isn’t much talk about discord like there is about browsers. However, it might be just an undeveloped branch of the oss community.

COPPA is a joke sometimes, they don’t really protect and like other American orgs it probably is lobbied.
The best case would be to protect everyone’s privacy, not just the children OR teens. And if they wanted to help then they would’ve outlined other orgs like Facebook - but that’s an American org.
Seems similar to the focus modes in iPhones like ‘work’ mode. However I don’t like the point about spying.

Yep agreed. Everyone’s views are different, and there is definitively going to be some opposition.

I’m still surprised there are 32 bit apps out there that are supported still. It’s good to know there are people who are working to prevent e-waste.
