That’s how (properly developed/adapted) pasword services(and obviously, keyboards) should work in Android. It’s just OS wide settings now.

Bitwarden(Vaultwarden for me) works fine for me. It does have few hiccups here and there but 90% it works flawlessly.

My only complaint is the passkey support for Firefox variant(Fennec in my case). Kinda weird design choice to have select browsers as trusted and make no other browsers work.

For less technical people or just don’t want to deal with public-facing open port: Tailscale or Zerotier are both great option (use Tailscale if former)!

I mean clearly this is more of a fun little project than not. What I wanted to say is that it’s a bit missing the point if all we talk about is money.

1. No-code, paid and pre-made
2. DIY script writing, free(except materials) and custom built to suit personal needs. Fun to build(obviously).
