I still think Ubuntu or a flavor of it is the right answer for people new to Linux.
New to Linux and chose arch? I know it’s got issues but isn’t Ubuntu still the stupid easy way to run Linux. Steam out of the box, no driver issues.
Data output from manufacturing equipment. Just pick a standard. JSON works. TOML / YAML if you need to write as you go. Stop creating your own format that’s 80% JSON anyways.
I don’t understand why fast food needs its own minimum wage but I’m here for $20/hr in CA.
There are people selling oem keys on eBay for $5-$7. It’s too easy to buy a “legit” key at this point.
As long as the keyboard supports shift + escape for tilde (they said theirs did), i really don’t see a need for a 75%.
They help but I still get tailbone and lower back pain. I’ve found a foam roller also helps a ton.
I disagree about him not changing. He’s always had 1 or 2 topics that were a bit crazy (anti medicine, over the top islamaphobe, etc), but generally he had people on from both sides (mostly) and played a biased moderator. Now he’s a panelist as well and he has to be right. More than that he’s old man yells at cloud and gets super butthurt when anyone points it out.
Is that a thing still? The last 3 companies I’ve worked for didn’t even remove the Xbox apps from windows. The most I’ve seen is disabling the windows store so installing Microsoft terminal and WSL becomes more difficult.
Unless Biden suddenly plans to not run, the Dems aren’t going to run anyone real in the primaries against him.
I have an instagram account with 0 posts because it’s the only way to find out what’s going on in town.
I got lemmy to replace Reddit but I find myself going back to check on the local subreddit since they have no interest yet in moving here. When Narwall finally stops working I imagine I’ll stop using Reddit altogether.
Reddragon k552 10keyless rgb keyboard. It’s around $40 and is an amazing entry level mechanical. It was the board that started me down the rabbit hole.
The kitchen scale is super useful if you ever start making bread products. That said I avoid the scale for myself. Too depressing.
The main reason I prefer the 65 over 75 is not having to lift my hand to hit the Fn keys. Looks do play a part though as well.
Don’t worry. I’m sure once you get a 65% in your stable you’ll stop. You probably won’t need go ergo or have keyboards you swap out depending on your mood.
I have 2 porticos because the kbd67 was always out of stock. They still exist but the price went up to $160.
Usenet is worth every penny
If you are east of the front range cities it pretty much is the Midwest. That makes up about 42% of the state. Seems accurate to me.
