I made basically the same comment, and just now saw yours. Glanced to see who made it first out of curiosity.
Apparently we had the same thought at the same time. That’s wild.
Same great Dharma, new SolarPunk packaging!

Huh, Earth was once Ferenginar
I might not be the best one to reply, but that “we’re a family” shit irritates me.
“If we’re a big family here, then you, and my coworkers, need to accept me as I am. This is who I am, this is how much I smile, and this is how much I socialize. Please, we my family, accept that.”
Thanks for the visceral reminder to the first time I saw the lemon party :(
How old is that? I’ve been looking for one for years. I think that’s it, but I don’t remember the last panel like that
Yeah, actually, now that you mention it, I never had to specify before. Started doing that after mentioning it a few times and people thinking I meant cyber security lol
In my last car, most of it went in the trunk. I currently drive a pick-up because we have to have a way to haul my mom’s power wheelchair, so it mostly goes behind the seats folded up. I don’t have the TV or anything like that anymore. But some ramen noodles, an inverter, a kettle, a sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, extra shoes, light blanket/thick sheet, couple towels, first aid kit. Oh, and water
That’s really interesting! In the us, I lived extremely rural, without running water or electricity for several years. If we needed to do anything, we had to crank up a generator and use shitty satellite Internet in the beginning. After a while we got a few small/cheap solar panels and a couple car batteries we ran stuff off of.
Your message is just showing blank for me :/
So I worked security (night shift rent a cop, not like IT) for over a decade. On multiple occasions, I’d get snowed in, and unable to leave, or relief wouldn’t show, and because of the way the law’s written, I legally can’t leave until relieved.
I got into the habit of keeping everything I need in my car. For literal years, I could have comfortably lived in my car for over a week on a moments notice. To include an inverter, hot plate, small tv, game system, literally all the trappings of an apartment. I still keep some food and a sleeping bag in my pick up at all times, because you never fucking know, man. You never know.
Eta: forgot the whole reason I was replying before submitting. Lol
On a few occasions, I have saved the freaking day for friends or coworkers. Hungry? I got the foods. Ripped your pants? Portable sewing machine. Bored and no cell signal? How about we play some video games or watch a DVD? It’s an amazing feeling to be the dude who just has the shit you need
I’ve seen women’s shoes like that. But even picture 1 isn’t good for you. Your toes are naturally wider than the rest of your foot (take a look at a toddler walking barefoot sometime to see this). Toes splay to give us balance. Shoes that are like picture 1 or, God forbid, 2, push the toes to be narrower than they should be, causing crowding, overlapping, and bunions, among a host of other issues.
There have been nights when I definitely would have preferred indeterminately many genitalia, but to be honest, on a few occasions, one genetalius would have been preferable. Sometimes there are just too many verpi and not enough gurgustia.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen “genital” in the singular before, and now I’m trying to determine what qualifies as a singular genital and not the whole set of genitals.
For what it’s worth, I’ve also noticed the same thing where I live in Tennessee. Smoked for 21 years (from 11 to 32), and while there are still a ton of smokers in my little hick town, it’s much less than before.
I’m curious, how does that work for people from remote villages? India still have a pretty large population who live traditional lifestyles with limited access to the Internet, don’t y’all? Do they have the option of more traditional paper documents, or do they have to find a computer somewhere to use for certain things?
Okay, cool! I thought you meant those toe shoes at first. What makes them “barefoot” shoes? Is it just the wide toe box?
For me, I actually go up a full shoe size when I stand vs when sitting. I got my feet sized all through childhood and my 20s and always had horrible pain in shoes, and ended up learning this when I went to a podiatrist. My feet squish out like playdoh when I stand up. Lol. I’ve been treating my podiatrist shoes with kid gloves for years now because I lost the food insurance lol
Link to the shoes?
Such a fucking boss move, honestly.
Shoes are fucking horrible. There is no reason we should be shaping our feet to match our shoes. It’s like a way less extreme version of Chinese foot binding, but it’s so common it’s insane. Bunions and foot pain aren’t normal, they’re normalized. Wide toe boxes! We need wide toe boxes!
Thank you for attending my Toe Talk
Desperately need them to get letterboxed, spelling bee and strands on there, too. I play every night, and it just feels wrong not being able to play right now
