I use Phind solving computer problems. It does cite the sources it uses. At least for distro and general Linux issues. So far, it’s been a very good resource when I’ve needed it.

Variety - a silly taskbar program that changes my background randomly from my own selected sources with added random quotes. I have it set to change my background every 3 hours and the quotes every hour I think. I just can’ live without it anymore.
You need to find a better restaurant than Red Lobster.
A proper kitchen will crack open and loosen the meat before service.
2,204C is for those in Boca Raton and Rio Linda…
They try and use google, which doesn’t tell you anything about the information contained in the book. Or they complain about not being able to find the page they are told to look for.
Yep, students these days have no idea about the back of their books and how useful the index can be and the citations after that.
Even after repeatedly pointing it out, they still don’t make use of it. Despite the index being nearly a cheat code in itself.
As someone who has taught math to students in a classroom, unless you have at least a basic understanding of HOW the numbers are supposed to work, the tool - a calculator - is useless. While getting the correct answer is important, I was more concerned with HOW you got that answer. Because if you know how you got that answer, then your ability to get the correct answer skyrockets.
Because doing it your way leads to blindly relying on AI and believing those answers are always right. Because it’s just a tool right?
Do you one better - My mini-desktop is plugged into a monitor with no microphone or camera.
Emacs users laughing at VIM users.
Emacs - A pretty good OS you can use as a text editor.
While none of us here can say for sure, I wonder if this is more forced by Amazon’s fleet insurer raising rates rather than an evil directly from Amazon just because they can.
Amazon has roughly 30,000+ delivery vehicles. I don’t know their accident rate. But any injury or accident lawyer can tell you that listening to music and singing and generally be-bopping down the road IS distracted driving. This will cause larger payouts per accident and also higher insurance rates. And it’s low hanging fruit to go after in court. If Amazon is noticing the extra cost becoming an issue, it could well be the reason for such a draconian policy.
I’m not sayin’. I’m just sayin’ it could be a driver, (pun intended), in this instance.
You for got to mention the free and heavily discounted prices to get Mac computers into schools to get kids hooked on them. Which is something they still do to this I think.
Originally Factory Default. But after several surgeries and I’m forced to use the CLI to manually intervene to pee now, it has completely broken and is meaningless.
Just a curious question - Is there any VR sets that work with Linux Distros? I’m not much of a gamer to need or want one. Just want to learn for learning’s sake.
And there is no reason not to either. You would still be looking at the cli in Unix with that attitude.
Then you have missed the point of fishing and generally being a part of nature. Which differs greatly from simply being out in nature.
No one says you must keep and eat them. You can catch and release them if you so choose.
A place to sit and watch for deer when hunting them. Often an elevated seat, either on it’s own frame or attached to a directly to a tree. It gives the hunter a better vantage point to see the surroundings from. It’s amazing just how few critters actually look up. I have seen many wild animals going about their daily business from one. From little birds landing around me to rabbits, raccoons, fox, the odd bear. And ever so often I see a deer. Sometimes I have shot, sometimes I have let them pass freely.
But I find it an excellent place to look inward into myself. It’s a far better place to see deeper and more honestly than any room in any building.
Don’t sweat “what distro” so much. All the major distros offer the same desk tops. So pick a distro you like and just download the KDE Plasma spin of it and enjoy.
But that would require effort to learn to do something different. And a lot of users are firmly against that notion.
I prefer Trabant.
