Hahaha welcome to rural living for sure! Ive had a couple early camping mornings because I didn’t know how close the loggers would be. It’s nice to get started on chores earlier as you can, but I do try to be mindful of gas tools before 8.

I wouldn’t use anything that I have to breath out into a hospital room but I will say I bring my off brand zyn when I get put in for more than a night. All my local will give you is a 2mg nicorette every 2 hours and you have to ask each time. It’s absolutely torture to be withdrawing in a hospital.

I got blackout drunk one night and the next morning my pixel 6a screen wouldn’t respond, just black. Powered on and rang, alarm went off for an hour, print scanner, all worked, no screen. The problem with that argument is that the world has ALWAYS been a terrible place for the vast majority of people to live, at least since the industrial revolution and arguably since the agricultural revolution. The now vanishing middle class, an artifact of post war economic boom, was about the only time ever it was “morally right” to have a child because chances were very good that they would lead a life of even less suffering than their parents. I chose not to have kids because I agree that the world is headed in a bad direction, but more so because of my financial situation as a working class person, and my mental health as a result of a decade working check to check. If I were in the situation my parents were when I was born, I truly think the equation would work out differently.

I don’t understand the post, but I have a “fast metabolism” according to my team of gastroenterologists trying to figure out what’s wrong with me. Normal people apparently don’t take a huge dump 8 hours after a colonosopy. Food isn’t supposed to be processed that fast, and it’s incredibly difficult for me to gain weight just by eating, I couldn’t eat that much if I tried. Weight training and lots of supplemental protein is the only way for me.
