House centipede? More like homie centipede. Though for real I’ve actually been bitten by one before that dashed up my leg in the shower and I’m not a fan. Generally their jaws are too small to penetrate skin, but when they’re drowning they seem to get… motivated.

It’s really really rare for them to sting something as big as a person. They’re just not wired that way and kind of have to be short circuited to do it, plus like I said, their stingers aren’t usually long enough to actually go past the top layer of your skin. They’re designed to pierce cockroach carapaces, not lumbering mammals.

I live in Korea, and am haunted by these things frickin daily. Fast bastards too. Gotta keep an eye on the ceilings too because they’ll be up there chilling.

Had one even drop on me a couple weeks ago when I was outside BBQing. Dropped from the awning outside.

      Heebie F’n Jeebies dude.
